As the Lead Visual Designer at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, I am responsible for creating graphic assets for various departments, effectively supporting the entire Institute. This ranges from images for the website’s home page or headers, to custom data visualizations in support of publications authored by Senior Research fellows and Research Analysts. Data Visualizations

Trackers

In collaboration with the Publishing and Communications teams at PIIE, I’ve created and maintained several trackers that are available to the public through PIIE’s website. My role is focused on the figures and visualizations, updating and adjusting them as new data is available.

Annual Report

Every April, PIIE publishes its Annual Report, focused on capturing the work and achievements of the Institute’s Research Fellows for the year. As the Lead Visual Designer, I’m responsible for both creative direction and execution.

Logos and special graphics

Beyond supporting design needs for the Institute’s publications, I am also responsible for any graphic assets for special projects, podcasts, virtual series, events, etc. Often, these special projects serve as a PIIE sub-brand which include their own logo and rollout.
